THAT COLOUR LOOKS HORRIBLE ON ME

I often hear; that colour looks horrible on me. Keep an open mind. Every colour has many shades and you will always find a tone within it’s pallet that will suit you. Choosing the shades that compliment your complexion takes skill and an experienced eye.

Don’t make the common mistake of avoiding colours that don’t work with your hair. Match your complexion, not your hair. A brief rule of thumb; if your complexion is pinkish or the typical olive Mediterranean look wear icy colours reminiscent of winter scenes. If your complexion is more orange like, consider colours that remind you of fall.

When you walk into that interview you want to use all your assets to their full advantage. I always tell our clients to respect the corporate culture of the perspective employer and within those constraints dress in a manner that makes you shine. Remember you are not on a runway showing off an outfit. Your outfit has to show you in the best light and not attract attention to itself.
